We take privacy very, very seriously
The Location Company believes that personal privacy is a basic
right and one that service providers have a responsibility to
protect on behalf of their customers. We therefore operate in
strict accordance with the relevant Data Privacy Ordinances
as well as professional guidelines laid down by the telecommunications
industry and its regulators. We will also only deal with companies
conforming to thesse requirements.
For non security-related LES applications each and every end-user is in total control of the location function -- tracking stops when the location function is disabled or as soon as the device is switched off. Also, we recommend that tracking of users be only enabled for individuals who have given their express consent to be on the system.
